SOAR TO NEW HEIGHTS! Announcing a new Bachelor of Science in Professional Pilot program. This degree offers the training required to attain the FAA certifications and become a professional pilot.

YEAH, WE DID THAT!

Students in the Bachelor of Science in Professional Pilot program will begin flight training in their first semester. This degree will prepare students for FAA certifications and a career in commercial aviation. The academic courses are paired with lab courses at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport that prepare you to work with the aircraft both on the ground and in the air. You will take the controls to gain flight hours. In addition, you will take other classes to help you learn how to successfully manage an aircraft and its crew.

In 2019, 76% of U.S. commercial airlines either required or preferred hiring a pilot with a 4-year college degree.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 2021 median annual pay for airline and commercial pilots was $130k+
According to the FAA, 50% of licensed pilots will retire in the next 20 years
